With its village core now nearing completion, the Snowmass Base Village real estate market is experiencing a dramatic upswing. Over 69 residence sales closed in Base Village from June 1, 2018 thru May 31, 2019 – more than double the number of transactions from the same period the previous year. Prices are surging as well, with the average price per square foot in 2018 at its highest level since 2009.

Prices on developer new construction homes in Base Village have averaged over $1,400 per square foot, with the most premier residences having sold for nearly $2,000 per square foot. With real estate prices in Snowmass at about half of those in Aspen, buyers are attracted to the relative value proposition that new construction in Base Village offers.

SALES HIGHLIGHTS
Since launching developer sales in earnest about 18 months ago, East West Partners has sold 75 Base Village residences.
